1. Payment Terms
Monthly service charges are based on factors such as location, number of pets, yard size, and visit frequency. Services are billed on a prepaid monthly basis. The first month's payment will be invoiced after the initial cleanup and will include a prorated amount for the remainder of that month. Subsequent payments are due on the first Monday of each service month. If payment is not received by the 5th of the month, services will be suspended, and a resumption fee will be required to reinstate service.
2. Credit Card Policy
Credit card information will be securely stored within the Sweep & Go CRM system and automatically charged each month for services rendered. By enrolling in our services, you consent to such charges.
3. Late Fee
A late fee of $10.00 will be applied for payments overdue by ten (10) days. Accounts more than forty-five (45) days past due will incur a $35.00 collection fee and may be forwarded to a collections agency.
4. Text Messaging
By providing a mobile phone number, you consent to receiving text (SMS) notifications regarding services, reminders, and announcements. You may opt-out of these communications by responding “STOP” to any message.
5. Inclement Weather
In the event of hazardous weather conditions, services may be rescheduled. If snow accumulation exceeds 2" within eight (8) hours of the scheduled service, rescheduling will be required. Regular fees will apply for rescheduled visits.
6. Yard Access
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure unobstructed access to the service area. Your weekly fee will still apply if we are unable to gain access to your yard.
7. Pet Safety
For safety reasons, we ask that any dangerous or aggresive dogs be kept inside during our cleanings. If we cannot confirm that a dangerous dog is inside, you will still be charged your weekly fee and service will be resumed the following week.
8. Waste Removal Policy
Waste will be double bagged and disposed of in the clients trash can. If no trash can is available, we will leave the bag by the gate. Only solid waste will be picked up. Waste indicating health concerns, such as diarrhea will not be handled, and clients will be advised to seek veterinary care.
9. Service Area Conditions
Service areas must be visible and free of obstructions. If areas are obstructed, clients will be notified that full service may not be provided.
10. Exclusions
Waste removal services exclude areas under trampolines, dense underbrush, and obstacles posing safety risks.
11. Leaf & Snow Policy
Scoop Detectives techs will only pick up what they can see. If there is snow or leaves on the ground, we will pick up any poop that is visible on top of the snow/leaves. Any poop that is subsequently missed under snow, will be picked up whenver the snow has melted, so long as your membership is still active.
12. Service Suspension
A minimum of 24-hour notice is required to pause services for credit toward the following month.
13. Liability
Scoop Detectives will not be held liable for property damage or loss, except in cases of gross negligence. Scoop Detectives is fully licensed and insured.
14. Service Termination
Services may be terminated by providing a 48-hour notice. No refunds will be issued for partial months. Services can be cancelled through your Sweep & Go account.
15. Agreement to Terms
By initiating service, you agree to these Terms and authorize access to your property for the purpose of providing services.
16. Holiday Schedule
Services may be adjusted around major holidays. We are closed from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving.
17. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is confidential and will not be sold or shared without your consent.
18. Revisions to Terms
Scoop Detectives reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Please review them periodically for updates.
